Castle Closure Dates

The Castle will be closed on the following dates: -

17th, 25th & 26th of December 2025; 1st & 2nd of January 2026.

Bad Weather Conditions

The Castle may be closed at short notice for safety reasons in the event of certain weather conditions, e.g. high winds and/or excessive snow and ice. Before setting off to the Castle, we advise you to visit the Met Office website to check the weather conditions in the Stonehaven area.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased either on arrival at the Castle ticket kiosk or in advance online. For ticket prices, please follow the 'Buy Tickets' link above. Please note that we only accept card payments.
