THE PEARSONS

George Pearson is the proud owner of Dunnottar Castle, the 5th generation of the family to enjoy this privilege.

The Castle was bought in 1919 by the 1st Viscount and Viscountess Cowdray who embarked on an extensive programme of conservation and restoration works, protecting it from further damage and deterioration. Since then the family's guiding principle has been to maintain and preserve the spectacular and important site for future generations to enjoy.
