We are proud to be open all year round (weather permitting)!
Bad Weather Conditions
In the event of bad weather, the Castle may be closed at short notice for safety reasons. We advise you to visit the Met Office website to check weather conditions in the Stonehaven area.
Summer Season
1st April - 30th September:
Open daily, 09.00 – 18.00 (last entry 17:00).
Winter Season
1st October - 31st March:
Open daily from 10.00, for closing times see foot of the page. Last entry is one hour before closing time.
Castle Closure Dates
The Castle is closed to the public on the 25th & 26th of December and the 1st & 2nd of January annually.
