Directions

On foot

We highly recommend walking to the Castle from the nearby town of Stonehaven along the picturesque coastal path. From the parking area at the harbour, follow Shorehead to Love Lane, just after the harbour-front pubs, and take a left onto Castle Street. Follow the path uphill and continue left at the top on the road and on to the path past the war memorial, enjoying the spectacular views along the way. We recommend wearing sturdy footwear and having waterproof clothing as the Scottish weather can be unpredictable!

Bicycles

There are bike racks adjacent to the coach park at the Castle.

By car

We have a free car park with accessible parking spaces for patrons.
